Here are some things to note after hot wax hair removal:

Avoid hot water and hot baths: Hot wax hair removal may make your skin sensitive, so avoid using hot water or hot baths for the next 24 to 48 hours. Choose cool showers or warm washes to avoid further irritation of the skin.

Avoid sun exposure: Sun exposure may cause irritation and pigmentation on skin that has just undergone hot wax removal. Avoid direct exposure to the sun or use appropriate sunscreen to protect your skin for 24 to 48 hours after hair removal.

Avoid harsh products: For a period of time after hair removal, avoid using products that contain alcohol, fragrances, or other harsh ingredients, such as perfumes, essential oils, or harsh detergents. These products may further irritate sensitive skin.

Keep skin clean and moisturized: Gently wash the hair removal area with warm water every day and pat dry. Keeping your skin clean and moderately moisturized can help prevent infection and keep your skin healthy.

Avoid rubbing or scratching: Avoid rubbing or scratching the treated area for a few days after hair removal. This may irritate the skin or cause unnecessary redness, swelling or bruising.

Prevent infection: Keep the hair removal area clean and avoid touching contaminants or using shared towels or hygiene products to reduce the risk of infection. If you notice any unusual redness, pain, or odor, talk to your doctor.
